Some of you might be wondering, why a baby lobster costume? After all, lobsters aren’t exactly the first outfits which come to mine when people are thinking of halloween costumes.

Actually, it’s pretty simple. Rather than bore you with words, just have a look at the infant lobster costumes pictures. I mean, if you’re an adult, I agree that you can look pretty silly in an adult lobster costume.

However, wouldn’t you agree that if you’re a little kid or baby or even your pet, the baby lobster costumes look so adorable?.. :)

BTW, did you know that lobsters have blue blood, just like snails and spiders due to the presence of copper in their blood. In contrast, mammals and humans have red blood due to the present of iron in their blood. Some scientists claim that lobsters can live indefinitely as they have an enzyme that repairs their DNA, provided they aren’t injured, diseased or captured. Whether or not this is true is debatable, but it is true that their longevity allows them to reach very large sizes. The largest lobster caught weighed more than 20kgs!

Contrary to popular belief, live lobsters are not red in color and are usually greenish-brown or yellow-orange in color. The red color of cooked lobsters only comes out after the lobster has been cooked or boiled. It appears that heating up a lobster shell causes the shell to turn red.

Some scientists claim that lobsters can’t feel pain the way that humans do. This is because that scientists believe that a lobster has a brain the size of a grasshopper. Supposedly, lobster brains are just a collection of ganglia or nerve endings. Nothing like the more complex brain of mammals. Therefore, from the lack of complexity of its brains, some lobstermen claim that lobsters don’t feel pain.
